Vein Mapping

Vein mapping is a procedure carried out using an ultrasound probe that use sound waves (doppler technology) to visualize or "map" every vein in the arms or legs that is located beneath the skin. It enables better treatment planning by enabling the practitioner to observe the size, depth, and blood flow in these veins.
